For 60 years BENZI has been manufacturing PTO drive shafts, safety devices, torque limiters, gearboxes, speed multipliers and speed reducers for agricultural mechanization.
- 1955 – BENZI is founded by Rolando Benzi and his wife Nunzia Di Terlizzi.
- 1960 – The company establishes its headquarters in Cassano d’Adda and begins the first investments focused on industrialization.
- 1970 – BENZI enters the international market first in Europe, then in North and South America and finally in Australia and Asia; this is how the first valuable contacts were born with those who would become, over the years, official importers and distributors.
- 1985 – Purchase of the warehouse in Inzago and progressive development of the layout and investments in machinery and systems.
In 2001, our French branch BENZI FRANCE was inaugurated.

- 2003 – BENZI acquires a new area in Inzago and expands the production floor and the offices area.
- 2005 – BENZI begins to actively participate in the work of the Technical Commission CEN / TC144 which, within the EU, is responsible for promoting and improving the safety standards of agricultural cardan transmissions, including the reference standard EN 12965.
- 2007 – Relevant investments in robotics.
- 2011 – Expansion of the commercial network.
In June 2012 BENZI AMERICA was established.

- 2013 – The new range of EVOLUTION pto drive shafts is launched on the market.
The driving force towards new markets, the constant investments on production technology, the continuous growth of the internal organization and the constant attention paid to customer needs, allows the company to position itself among the world leaders in the production and marketing of PTO drive shafts; nowadays BENZI exports to more than 50 countries around the world.
- 2017 – BENZI AMERICA joins the board of directors of ADMA (association of manufacturers of agricultural transmissions for North America). ADMA is responsible for promoting and improving the safety standards of agricultural drivelines.

- 2021 – BENZI opens a new production plant in Cassano d’Adda, implements a redistribution of the production departments between the Cassano d’Adda and Inzago plants and plans for further investments.
